Growing preference for mixed-use communities, more jobs concentrating in downtown Chicago and an increased number of residents wanting to walk, bike or take public transit are a few factors transforming city neighborhoods and suburban downtowns. If these trends continue, what might our region look in 2050? Join our lively conversation with architects and experts in urban policy and planning to explore this question and more. This is part of CMAP’s forum series to discuss the agency’s ON TO 2050 Comprehensive Regional Plan.
