Below, you'll find answers to most of your questions about membership benefits, from how to make a reservation to what communications you'll receive to information on parking discounts. My CAF Membership Card and Account
When will I receive my CAF Membership Card?
Whether you're joining for the first time or renewing your membership, your CAF Membership Card(s) will arrive approximately three weeks from the day you join or renew. However, you can start using your membership benefits right away, before your CAF membership card arrives. Just login to your account on the
member account sign-in page.
How do I set up my online account?
We automatically create an account for you using the email address you provided us when you purchased your membership. Go to the
member account sign-in page, enter your email address and click on “Forgot password?” to create a password.
Do I need my CAF Membership Card to make reservations for tours?
No, but it is easier to make reservations if you have your membership number ready. If you are purchasing tour tickets in-person or over the phone, a CAF employee will be able to look up your account information and book your tour without your membership card. If you are purchasing tickets online, you will need to log into your online account before booking a tour. If it is your first time logging in, visit the
member account sign-in page, enter the email you used when you purchased your membership and click “Forgot password?” to create a password before purchasing tour tickets.
It's been three weeks and I never received my card. How do I find out if it has been mailed?
We’re sorry you haven’t yet received your card. Please contact our Call Center at 312.922.8687 or email us at

I've lost my card and/or never received it. How can I get a duplicate card?
Please contact our Call Center at 312.922.8687 or email us at
firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll take a look at your account and issue a duplicate card as quickly as possible.
How do I change my address and/or update information?
To change your address or make other status updates it is recommended that you contact our Call Center at 312.922.8687 or email us at
email@example.com. We’re happy to help you update your information.
How do I redeem my annual buy-one-get-one-free CAF River Cruise or Devil in the White City tour benefit?
To use your benefit, please contact our Call Center at 312.922.8687 or visit the CAF Shop and Tour Center at 224 S. Michigan Ave. Remember, there are limited tickets for Saturday departures on the CAF River Cruise.
Can I use my annual buy-one-get-one-free CAF River Cruise benefit online or at the Chicago's First Lady's dock?
In order to use this benefit you must either contact our Call Center at 312.922.8687 or visit the CAF Shop and Tour Center at 224 S. Michigan Ave.
*There are limited tickets for Saturday departures. Household-level members receive an annual buy-two-get-two-free CAF River Cruise benefit.
I want to purchase a ticket online and I can't login and/or it is not accepting my login information. What should I do?

I've logged in to purchase tickets but my CAF benefits aren't being recognized. What should I do?
In order to redeem your benefits online, you’ll need to login using the email address provided when setting up your membership. To confirm the email address linked to your account, or for help setting up your account online, please contact our Call Center at 312.922.8687 or email us at
email@example.com. We’re happy to help sort out the problem.
How do I learn about upcoming membership events and CAF offerings?
There are three ways that CAF communicates with its members.

Members Magazine Four times a year, the Members Magazine delivers an inside look into the Chicago Architecture Foundation. In each issue, we keep you up to date on our educational initiatives and preview upcoming members-only events. We’ll let you know what seasonal events can’t be missed and share anecdotes and facts from leading Chicago architects. Our Members Magazine is an easy way to stay in-the-know about all the latest news from CAF. Architecture.org The CAF website is available 24 hours a day and will always have the most up-to-date information on CAF events and offerings.
Member Benefits for Open House Chicago
Do CAF Members receive any Open House Chicago (OHC) Benefits?
YES! Members receive a Member Priority Pass to use during the event. The pass allows members to have expedited entrance at all OHC sites. It also serves as your ticket for CAF members only sites.

Do my CAF membership benefits include parking discounts?
Yes! We’ve partnered with Millennium Garages to provide exclusive parking benefits for CAF Members.
In which garages can I use my CAF parking benefits?
The Grant Park South garage, located at 325 S. Michigan Ave. and the Millennium Park garage, located at 5 S. Columbus Dr. offer discounted parking to CAF members.
What is my CAF member parking discount?
You are entitled to a parking validation that provides a $5 discount off your parking fee at the Grant Park South and Millennium Park garages.
How do I receive my $5 parking voucher?
Please pick up your $5 parking validation at our CAF Shop and Tour Center located at 224 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60604, between the hours of 9am and 9pm, daily.
What is the upgraded parking benefit for Sustaining, Deco, Beaux Arts, Sullivan Society or Burnham Society members?
At the Sustaining, Deco, Beaux Arts, Sullivan Society or Burnham Society levels, you can register for a keycard to park in the Grant Park South garage and/or the Millennium Park garage. Your keycard entitles you to a daily rate of $15* for 12 hours.
*Pricing subject to change based on garage rates.
How do I register for my upgraded parking benefit?
Simply complete the
Millennium Garages registration form and return it to CAF. When you complete the form, please provide your credit card information. Millennium Garages will debit that card $15 each time you park in the garage.

Once I've registered, when can I pick up my keycard?
Keycards will be delivered to the CAF Shop and Tour Center at 224 S. Michigan Ave., every Wednesday. Please allow five business days to process your information. Please Note: If you are submitting your forms Saturday through Tuesday, your keycard will not be delivered until the following Wednesday.
Can you mail me my keycard?
For security purposes we request that you pick up your card at the CAF Shop and Tour Center (224 S. Michigan Ave). You will be asked to provide a valid photo ID and sign to verify that you have received your keycard.
How many keycards per household?
You will be provided with one keycard per household.
Will my keycard expire?
Yes, your keycard has the same expiration date as your CAF Membership. If you renew prior to your expiration date, CAF will maintain your keycard status as active unless we are notified to deactivate your keycard. You can request that your keycard be deactivated by contacting us by email at

What happens if I lose my keycard?
There is a $25 replacement fee for a lost, stolen or damaged keycard. Please contact Millennium Garages for a replacement keycard at the Grant Park South Garage office located at 325 S. Michigan Ave. or call 312.922.1156. Please note: You can access the Grant Park South Garage pedestrian entrance just outside the CAF Shop and Tour Center.
