Digital Rendering |

Create
a 3D model or rendering of one of the following buildings.
A set of construction documents will be available for
reference, provided by your teacher. You may use the
following software for this division: Revit Architecture,
AutoCAD or Sketch-Up.
Who is eligible to enter
in this category?
Chicago Public School students
enrolled in a first or second year architecture class.
Any CPS high school student not registered in an architecture
course is also welcome to enter this division.
Any third year student may enter this division as a
second project. However, a design project from Division
8 or 9 must be submitted first. |

size must be 18” x 24” center mounted
on a black 22” x 28” mat board. |

If you choose to
use 2 sheets, both must be mounted overlapping each
other on a single piece of mat board. |

You may use only
3D-modeling and 3D rendering software with Boolean
functions, texture mapping, computer-generated illumination,
etc. to render the three dimensional model. |

Two-dimensional
graphic manipulation software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop,
Illustrator) is NOT allowed. |

Drawing must be plotted
(no computer displays will be permitted). |

Projects may not
be submitted in teams. |
