TALIESIN
The Chicago Architecture Foundation
is able to offer a week-long apprenticeship at Taliesin. This
year, six top prize-winning students will be awarded a trip
to Frank
Lloyd Wright’s School of Architecture in Spring
Green, Wisconsin as part of the Newhouse Scholars program.
While at Taliesin, students will spend the week working with
a mentor on a design project. The 2007 Taliesin Junior Apprentices
spent the week designing a 300 square foot dwelling for a
site on the beautiful, 600 acre campus.
The Newhouse Scholars follow Frank Lloyd Wright’s model
of “learning by doing” and participate in every
aspect of life as part of the Taliesin community.
The process of selecting Taliesin apprentices is extremely
competitive.
Apprenticeships are open to all Junior and Senior winners
