The Bloomingdale Trail

Beth White, Director of the Chicago Office of the Trust for Public Land, and Ben Helphand, Board President and Co-founder of Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail, discuss the planned Bloomingdale Trail, the nearly three-mile-long elevated park running through and over the City's near northwest side. Hear about the embankment's history as a railroad, the development of the idea to turn it into a linear park, and the current status of the Trail's design and development.
