Graceland Cemetery: Landscape History and Design

Christopher Vernon, author of Graceland Cemetery: A Design History (2011), summarizes the largely forgotten history of the landscape design of Chicago's famed Graceland Cemetery. Vernon also discusses what O. C. Simonds, while Superintendent of and Landscape Gardener for Graceland Cemetery, accomplished that resulted in the international acclaim accorded to Graceland Cemetery's landscape design.
