WAYS TO GIVE

Donate $30 for 30 Years of Newhouse

The Newhouse Architecture & Design Competition is an incredible opportunity for students to showcase their work for Chicago's architectural and design community. Top prize winners earn paid summer internships at firms in Chicago, or a prestigious apprenticeship at Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's School of Architecture in Spring Green, Wisconsin. CAF is one of the only organizations in the country to collaborate with Taliesin for teen programs. Read more about the Newhouse Competition here.

Please show your support of the 30th anniversary of this initiative with a $30 donation at www.architecture.org/supportnewhouse

Matching Gift

Involve your employer. You can double or triple your contribution to the Chicago Architecture Foundation and raise your donor level by sending a matching gift form with your donation. Check with your personnel office for information or to obtain a matching gift form.

Planned Giving & Bequests

An estate gift to the Chicago Architecture Foundation is a perfect way to ensure you help sustain our important programming. These gifts create a lasting legacy for the future. Estate gifts and bequests are placed in the Chicago Architecture Foundation Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund is a pool of money that is guided by the Board of Trustees and is invested in safe and secure financial instruments. The income derived from these investments is used to support the work of the Foundation.

You do not have to be a millionaire to make a meaningful gift to the Chicago Architecture Foundation. All gifts, large and small, are important to the Foundation’s mission. Planning your estate is very personal. We urge you to seek professional counsel when considering your estate planning. We also ask you to consider an estate gift to the Chicago Architecture Foundation as part of your legacy.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

A gift to the Chicago Architecture Foundation in memory of a loved one is an excellent way to honor them and to support the mission of the Foundation. Memorial Gifts can be designated to any area of programming, to general operating funds or to the Chicago Architecture Foundation Endowment Fund. A Memorial Gift of any size is important. Remembering a loved one with a gift to the Chicago Architecture Foundation is a heartwarming and thoughtful way to continue their legacy. If you choose to make a Memorial Gift your support will be acknowledged with a personal note to the family of the person being honored. You will also receive acknowledgment of your gift with a letter. This option is available online, click here to make a tribute gift.
