THANK YOU!
The Chicago Architecture Foundation would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's Auxiliary Board river cruise fundraiser a success.
Through the hard work of the event's co-chairs, Carrie and Ruben Ruban, and the generous support of the sponsors and attendees, the evening raised over $10,000 for student apprenticeships at Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's School of Architecture in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
In 2010, six prize-winning Chicago Public School students were awarded a trip to Taliesin as part of the Newhouse Scholars program. While at Taliesin, they spent the week working on a design project that responded to the landscape's rolling hills. This is an incredible opportunity for CPS students to immerse themselves in a supportive architectural community and prove that they are capable of creating sophisticated work.
