On this seven-day journey through Mexico City, you’ll marvel at the pyramids of Teotihuacan and explore the new architecture of the city. The trip includes a journey to the Palacio des Bellas Artes to admire the Tiffany stage curtain and take in a folk performance; an entire day spent with the Legoretta architecture firm, viewing their work of the past, present, and future; and a visit to the homes and studios of architect Luis Barragan and artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

The Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Donor Travel Program is a one-of-a-kind educational experience that brings visitors to some of the most artistically and architecturally fascinating and thought-provoking sites in the world. CAF’s donor trips focus on the architecture and design of a region, allowing travelers to get an in-depth architectural overview of historic sites and talk to contemporary architects about contemporary projects. This year, CAF travels to Mexico City for a journey that includes visits to natural monuments, museums, cultural centers, architects’ homes and studios and much more.

Cancellation and Refund Policy (to be made in writing)
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your participation in the Mexico City travel program, the following terms will apply: Reservations cancelled up to and including 90 days prior to departure will incur a $50 administrative fee. Later cancellations will be subject to the following charges: 40 to 89 days before scheduled departure 50% of tour cost; 7 to 39 days prior to departure the total cost of the trip, less any recoverable sums from independent providers or services, accommodations and the like; 6 days or less, including no-shows, or early return from the trip will result in forfeiture of 100% of the trip cost.
