Join CAC at Millennium Park’s Family Fun Festival from Aug. 5-9. We’ll offer engaging, hands-on activities to inspire families to discover why design matters! Learn about architecture and the city through activities that encourage looking, drawing and building.

Various activities will take place each day from ages six months and up.

Design challenge:     Build a skyscraper with creative materials (Monday, Wednesday & Friday only)

How tall is tall?:      Use engineering to discover how tall you can build with KAPLA blocks

Design your own skyline      Ever wanted to add a piece to the iconic Chicago skyline? Now you can!

Read + Build:      Join us for a story about architecture, design or engineering.. then bring the book to life with an activity! (Tuesday & Thursday only)
