Juanna Blackwell joined CAC as its first Chief Operating Officer in September of 2021. She is responsible for providing strategic guidance and executing on the overall operational strategy of the organization. In her role she is responsible for oversight of the IT, Finance & Accounting and Human Resources departments.
Juanna brings with her 20 years of experience in the fields of civil & environmental engineering, commercial & residential real estate, finance, and operations. She has extensive experience in process improvement, change management, strategic planning, and financial management. Prior to joining CAC, Juanna spent over nine years at Ticketmaster where in her final role with the company she was responsible for overseeing finance, operations and providing overall strategic guidance for a $30-million segment. Prior to Ticketmaster, she spent time working for Kraft Foods, IBM, Northrop Grumman, and managed her family real estate business.
Juanna is a proud graduate and avid supporter of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She earned a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and an MBA in Finance from Howard University. She previously served on the Associate Board of the YMCA of Metro Chicago and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the David Lynch Foundation Chicago, an organization dedicated to bringing the practice of transcendental meditation to at-risk populations.
