Unlike most of Chicago, the lots in Beverly are large—some as big as 1.5 acres. The houses also are large—most were constructed between 1890 and 1930 and each is unique. There are no tract houses on this tour. See the work of famous and not-so-famous architects who designed homes in a variety of styles.

This tour begins at 1:15 pm, a time that is convenient for those wishing to take the Rock Island Metra Line from downtown Chicago to the tour's starting and ending point at the 103rd St. Metra station. There is free parking on Walden Pkwy. north of 103rd St.
