This leisurely ride takes us through some of Chicago’s constructed natural beauty. We’ll bike along a route that was once the city’s edge while examining a historic boulevard and park designed by William LeBaron Jenney and Jens Jensen. As we ride, we’ll admire the eclectic architecture of recreational, residential and industrial buildings.

Learn about the personalities who shaped area neighborhoods. Over the years, these neighborhoods have also been effected by transportation: boulevards changed when cars replaced horses and an old railroad structure is now The 606 (Bloomingdale Trail), an elevated linear park for walking and biking.
