The Chicago Board of Trade is an icon of the Loop that anchors the LaSalle Street financial corridor. Visit the three buildings that comprise the Board of Trade and showcase its three distinct architectural styles. We’ll also see newly designed and renovated spaces, historical art and the massive traders’ vault.

Discover the richly ornamented exterior of the original 1930 Art Deco design by Holabird and Root and explore the soaring lobby and spectacular vault, befitting Chicago’s early traders. We’ll contrast those with the two additions to the south and east: the postmodern 1982 Murphy/Jahn homage to the 1930 building, with its towering atrium, and the functional 1997 Fujikawa/Johnson addition.

  • Although it's not required, we recommend making reservations in advance for this tour.
