On the 11th-annual Emerging Chicago bus tour, visit projects that are redefining our city. Explore rapidly-changing spaces along the Chicago River, from the rehabbed main lobby of the Merchandise Mart to three new skyscrapers on the river.
As we visit riverfront sites, we'll walk several blocks to see how each building project incorporates unique landscaping. In addition to the Merchandise Mart, we'll visit three riverfront skyscrapers. 150 N. Riverside is an engineering marvel squeezed between rail tracks leading to Union Station, Wolf Point West is the first development at the western end of the River's main stem and River Point's eastern-facing plaza has incredible views of the riverfront.
