Visit projects that are redefining our city on the 11th annual Emerging Chicago bus tour. This year we’ll visit rapidly changing spaces along the Chicago River on bus and on foot.
During this tour we’ll view the Merchandise Mart's rehabbed main lobby and three new skyscrapers along the Chicago River: 150 N. Riverside, an engineering marvel squeezed between railroad tracks; Wolf Point West, the first development on the western end of the river’s main stem; and River Point, which has incredible views of the riverfront from its eastern plaza. We’ll walk several blocks during the tour to get better view and see how unique landscaping is incorporated around each building.
