The doors to Chicago’s finest places and spaces don’t unlock themselves. We'd like to introduce you to the passionate, enthusiastic people helping us put together #OHC2015.

Sabrina Tadić is the Marketing & Communications Manager at the Alliance Française de Chicago. Founded in 1897, Alliance Francaise de Chicago is a French language learning center located in a historic Greystone in the Gold Coast. The building has a beautiful glass and steel addition and courtyard. It’s typically an OHC favorite.

What is your favorite part about this site? Why should people see it?

The Alliance Francaise de Chicago is the best place to learn French and experience all things French within the city limits. If you’re looking for a place to learn a new language, make friends and have a great time in the process, it’s the place to be!

What do you love about Open House Chicago? What was your favorite OHC experience?

I love how Open House Chicago offers a rare inside view into the eclectic beauty of Chicago architecture. The energy in the city is palpable, contagious and everyone becomes an architectural voyeur for the weekend!

What is the most unusual or most common question you get asked by OHC visitors?

“Do you have to speak French fluently or be a member to visit the Alliance?”

Not at all! Everyone is welcome! If you have a passion for French language, culture and you’re looking for a warm, welcoming environment to release your inner-French, then please, “Faites un saut chez nous!” ("Swing by here!")
