What simple, design-minded adaptations make for a healthier office? This program is geared to employers, building managers and others charged with reopening an office space. Get the tools to do so safely and confidently from Todd Heiser, Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s Chicago office, hosted by CAC President and CEO Lynn Osmond with a special introduction from Related Midwest's Ann Thompson.

Program Speaker: Todd Heiser

Todd Heiser is a Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s Chicago office. His leadership showcases more than 20 years of experience in next-generation design at the cutting edge of workplace strategies, and his commitment to conceptual and technical development transforms spaces for clients around the globe. Heiser’s design process champions partnership with his clients, which include Matter, Google, Kohler, Fourth Presbyterian Church, Le Meridien Hotels, and Nickelodeon. He is also a major design voice in reimagining Chicago’s Willis Tower. Heiser was named Contract magazine’s 2016 Designer of the Year and Interior Design magazine’s 2015 HiP Leader for Workplace. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture and a bachelor’s degree in interior design. He also received the Henry Adams Medal from the AIA.

Program Speaker: Ann Thompson

Ann Thompson

Ann Thompson, AIA, is Senior Vice President of Architecture and Design of Related Midwest, leading the design and planning of projects across the company's portfolio of mixed-use, mixed-income, affordable and luxury developments, as well as all engineering, zoning and entitlement efforts. Ms. Thompson has spent 24 years with the company, overseeing the design of more than 2,700 residences, with another 1,500 in the pipeline. Ms. Thompson is a licensed architect in Illinois and sits on the boards for the Chicago Architecture Center and the Lycée Francais de Chicago. In addition, she is a member of the Women's Board of the Alliance Francaise, the International Women's Forum, The Chicago Network and the American Institute of Architects. Ms. Thompson received her Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
