Program

Join CAC for a sneak peek of Open House Chicago (OHC), our free, annual architecture festival taking place Oct. 13-14. Hear about what’s new and exciting in this eighth year of the event.
OHC gives you behind-the-scenes access to hundreds of buildings across Chicago. At this daytime talk, you’ll hear how CAC selects buildings and sites for OHC that tell unique stories about Chicago’s past, present and future.
Eric Rogers manages Open House Chicago (OHC) at the Chicago Architecture Center, where he has been on staff since 2014. Eric holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in the social sciences from the University of Chicago, and has worked as a researcher, fundraiser, and nonprofit program manager. A native of Memphis, Eric has spent more than a decade crisscrossing Chicago's diverse neighborhoods by bike, transit and on foot. Along the way he has amassed a significant photographic archive documenting Chicago's rich and evolving architecture and urban fabric.
