Harley Ellis Devereaux has created thousands of homes nationwide, and this work provides the opportunity to study how we live and how design has the power to enhance our daily experiences. Susan F. King, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C and Past President of Chicago Women in Architecture, will share the collective insights of the Harley Ellis Devereaux' Housing Studio on this subject. Covering the demographic spectrum from millennials to seniors populations, the challenges, opportunities and concerns that are shaping the design of current multi-family and mixed-use projects will be presented through a series of case studies of current work. The Chicago Architecture Foundation is pleased to present this Lunch Talk in partnership the Chicago Women in Architecture for the special exhibition, Women Building Change: Chicago Women in Architecture Celebrates 40 Years.
