Every good idea needs to be effectively communicated and pitched through a legislative process to get political and community members on board. Through an interactive team project, AIA Illinois will engage you in a simulation of this process, share best practices in communicating design ideas and help you gain inside knowledge about what a day at the Capitol as an architecture advocate would be like.

This studio is led by Stacey Pfingsten, Executive Director of AIA Illinois. Based in Springfield, within eyesight of the Illinois Statehouse, AIA Illinois represents more than 4,200 members and advocates on their behalf.
