Have you ever wondered how buildings stand up without falling over? Join engineers from Thornton Tomasetti to discover how skyscrapers reach incredible heights. Participants will construct their own tower and learn what it takes to be an engineer.

In this three-hour workshop, students will gain insights into the day-to-day life of an engineer from industry experts and have an opportunity to create their own tall building. This studio is led by Karen Grossett and Joe Burns from Thornton Tomasetti, a global firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects and other industry professionals who offer structural engineering, protective design, forensic investigation and sustainability services.
