Winter Camp: Girls Build! (Affordable) Dream House

Think outside the box and design a dream house! This Girls Build! camp is specially crafted to engage girls ages 11–14 in architecture and design. From 2 to 5pm on select Sundays in January, February and March, girls will work through the design process to create their dream houses, while taking into account real-world issues like sustainability and affordability. Participants will learn sketching, computer modeling and 3-D model-making, and visit architecture and design firms where they'll work alongside women professionals. Girls will present their models at a final showcase on March 13 for their families.
