Chicago’s elevated train stations house an incredible collection of public art, including paintings, murals, mosaics, and sculpture. This tour hops on and off public “L” trains to discover art and explain its unique connection to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Starting and ending at the Chicago Architecture Center, this tour takes guests through the River North, Old Town, Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods, highlighting great architecture, panoramic vistas and fantastic art along the way.

  • Stairs are required to access the train. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • A Ventra ("L" train) pass is needed to take part in this tour. You can purchase a Ventra pass for an additional fee of $3.50 at the CAC Box Office. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the tour start time.
