Discover what’s new and important in Chicago’s built environment on this exclusive tour. This year we’re partnering with Related Midwest, a large real estate development company, to show you unique residential projects in three neighborhoods.

Duration
4 Hours
Meet
Chicago Architecture Center, 111 E. Wacker Dr.

On the North Side, you'll experience the recently completed transformation of the 34-acre Lathrop Homes—one of Chicago's first public housing complexes. See new Lathrop residential units and discover how landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh has revitalized open space along the river. We'll travel to the SOM-designed Taylor Street Apartments, which creatively combine mixed income and affordable housing with the Little Italy branch of the Chicago Public Library. The tour also includes a visit to Landmark West Loop, an amenity-rich luxury rental building designed by Morris Adjmi Architects. At each stop, you'll hear Related Midwest leaders share details about the design process and inspiration for these stunning new projects.
