*Premier Tour: Helmut Jahn had a profound and lasting impact on Chicago's built environment. This walking tour explores the late architect's style and influences in coordination with the current CAC exhibit Helmut Jahn: Life + Architecture.
Over the course of 105 minutes, we’ll visit five of Jahn’s most striking buildings throughout downtown Chicago, including the James R. Thompson Center, the Xerox Center, One South Wacker, Citigroup Center and 120 N LaSalle.
In doing so, we’ll also trace the evolution of his designs in the 1980s and put his work in context with other contemporary buildings designed by competitors.
Complement your tour with a visit to the Chicago Architecture Center, where the exhibit Helmut Jahn: Life + Architecture is on view now through October 2021.
