Until further notice, all CAC walking tours are suspended and the Center at 111 E. Wacker Dr. is closed, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines from the State of Illinois.

We’re a diverse and visionary team, passionate about fulfilling the organization’s mission of inspiring people to discover why design matters.

“I love that CAC serves as both a platform for exploring Chicago and a forum for understanding the city’s issues.”

We’re 70 staff members who are architects, teachers, designers, administrators, historians, storytellers and lovers of Chicago. We’re 450 volunteer docents from all walks of life joined together by one thing—a passion to provide an extraordinary experience to our visitors. We’re a board of trustees built of industry thought leaders.

Together, we’re the Chicago Architecture Center (CAC)—the world’s largest public architecture organization, working to promote Chicago as the global center of architectural innovation while creating programs that inspire the next generation of design thinkers. Meet our leadership team and a few staff members who are key to bringing architecture and design to our audiences.
