Accessibility & Safety

CAC welcomes all visitors and we are committed to making our offerings accessible to everyone.

Some of the services we currently provide:

Sign language interpretation is available for any CAC offering; please email tickets@architecture.org at least two weeks prior to the day of the event so arrangements may be made.
The Gand Lecture Hall is equipped with an FM Assistive Listening System. To request a receiver please inquire with a CAC staff member at the box office.
For accessibility information regarding the Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise aboard First Lady, please visit cruisechicago.com/accessibility.
The Center at 111 E. Wacker Drive has an elevator and a large family/gender neutral restroom.
Our tour buses can accommodate foldable wheelchairs and walkers, but please note that they do not have ramps or lifts and are only accessible for folks that can walk a short distance up the stairs to board the bus.
Note that Frank Lloyd Wright properties have stairs and are not completely ADA accessible. More info can be found on the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust’s accessibility page
