A new rendition of a favorite tour visits another area of the city to appreciate architecturally significant churches. Experience stunning worship spaces on the Near North and Near West Sides of Chicago.
The CAC's celebrated Churches by Bus tour returns this year with a blockbuster lineup spanning decades, and architectural styles. The tour explores three historic churches close to the Loop. Old St Patrick's is one of the oldest churches in the city and has seen a rebirth as the neighborhood around it changes. St James Cathedral was heavily damaged in the 1871 fire and was rebuilt in the Arts and Crafts style. And finally, we will visit a "Mystery Church" you won't want to miss.
