Watercolor Workshop: The Disappointed Tourist

Is there a place that you would like to visit or revisit, that no longer exists? Explore this question during a brief tour of our current exhibit, The Disappointed Tourist, where artist Ellen Harvey highlights nearly 300 paintings of places that no longer exist.
After the tour, participants will reflect on the architecture and history of places that hold personal meaning — and create their own watercolor painting inspired by the exhibition. This workshop is open to all skill levels and all materials will be provided.
At the CAC, we believe everyone should have the chance to discover why design matters. If the registration fee makes it difficult for you to join, please contact CACLearning@architecture.org to apply for a partial or full scholarship.
