This tour explores the exteriors of all three architecturally distinct Board of Trade buildings and takes you inside two of them. You'll see newly designed and renovated spaces, historical art, and the massive traders’ vault.

The Chicago Board of Trade: a Loop icon, City of Chicago Landmark and United States National Landmark, anchoring La Salle Street. Described in the building's opening brochure as the 'monarch of the street, it still stands tall and proud.
Discover the richly ornamented exterior, spectacular vault and soaring lobby of the original 1930 Art Deco design by Holabird and Root.
We’ll contrast the features of the main building with two Board of Trade additions: a Postmodern 1982 building with a towering atrium to the south by Murphy/Jahn Architects and a functional 1997 addition to the east by Fujikawa Johnson Gobel Architects.
