The Chicago Architecture Center is proud to present the latest iteration of SAY IT LOUD, a global traveling activation that elevates the work and identities of local diverse designers in each city it visits.

SAY IT LOUD is a global traveling activation that elevates the work and identities of local, diverse designers in collaboration with the National Organization of Minority Architects’ (NOMA). Each exhibition cultivates and elevates the contributions of women and diverse designers of that state, raising the visibility of their contributions to the built environment.

This activation was initially created by Beyond the Built Environment, an organization that addresses the inequitable disparities in architecture by providing a holistic platform aimed at supporting numerous stages of the architecture pipeline. The CAC and BBE have partnered on the Chicago iteration of SAY IT LOUD to promote the city's diverse designers. Accompanying the exhibition are video testimonials from featured designers highlighting their experiences and journeys in the profession.
