PRIVATE TOURS: MY SOCIAL CIRCLE
Experienced and knowledgeable CAC docents are available to lead private tours for up to eight family members or friends along any of our existing routes. Schedule according to the availability of those in your group! To book, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Family Walking Tours
Join CAC Education staff for a special walking tour for you and up to six total members of your family, for just $99!
Enjoy a special, safe walking tour experience from 45−60 minutes with one of the CAC’s expertly trained Education Guides, as they share secrets and stories behind some of the city’s most famous buildings—all just steps away from the Center at 111 East Wacker Drive.
With content curated specifically for youth ages eight and up, the whole family will enjoy learning how Chicago grew and why it became a global capital for great architecture.

This tour explores Chicago history through the lens of the city’s architecture. It includes visits to iconic structures that showcase why Chicago is the city of architectural innovation.

Chicago’s location at a key transportation junction allowed it to grow at a rapid rate. Discover engineering breakthroughs that helped the city utilize water, rails and roads to move goods and people—from 1850 to today.
- 1893 World's Fair
While the 1893 World’s Fair was held on the South Shore of Lake Michigan in mostly temporary buildings, there are sites downtown—still standing today—that date from the Fair and highlight its impact.
- The Great Fire
Explore the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire with this virtual field trip offering. Go behind the scenes and learn about the history of the fire and the lessons learned, after. Don’t wait, this is a limited offering!

Architecture Conversations and other specially customized tours start with a minimum two-hour reservation at $375, with each additional hour $125.
