Take a 45-minute live, virtual tour of Chicago Commercial buildings with CAC docent Mike McMains! Hosted on April 21 and 26, this is the first topic in a series of weekly tours McMains will lead in downtown Chicago through the end of May.
Shortly after skyscrapers were invented in the 1880s, a new style of architecture emerged for these tall buildings: Chicago Commercial. Learn about the Reliance Building, Sullivan Center and more as docent Mike McMains walks you through his neighborhood while practicing safe spatial distancing!
This tour will be hosted on Zoom. You will receive an email directly from Zoom on the day of the tour with details about how to access and view it.
