After meeting in Paris, portraitist George Healy and stained glass artist Louis Millet came to Chicago to start their interior design business. Their artistry won them national acclaim and the attention of Louis Sullivan. This is their story.
Join us for a close look at the artistry of George Healy and Louis Millet. Their art glass creations can be found in some of Chicago’s most iconic buildings, including the Auditorium Building and Chicago’s Cultural Center.
Program Speaker: Ron Becker
Ron Becker became a CAC a docent in 2019. He is also a docent at the Brookfield Zoo and an interpreter at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. Formerly a health actuary, Ron resides in Oak Park, where he and his wife raised their six children.
