Panelists from DAAM, Gensler, Perkins + Will, Ross Barney Architects and UrbanLab will present an array of studio styles and settings to help show the interplay between the design process and specific environments for creating. It’s a whole new way of appreciating the inner workings of the studio! Purpose-built live/work spaces, multifunctional flex spaces, adaptively reused structures and the marriage of modern, high-tech offices and historic architecture will all be considered in the context of the studio practice. Short slide presentations from Elyse Agnello (DAAM), Martin Felsen (UrbanLab), Lena Kitson (Gensler), Joe Connell (Perkins + Will) and Krista Simons Gliva (Ross Barney Architects) will give way to moderated discussion with CAC Director of Exhibitions Eve Fineman.
