The suburban residences highlighted in this program are of interest for a range of factors, including the fame of their architect, outstanding design features, noteworthy ownership, or interesting side stories.

Program Speaker: Ron Becker

Ron Becker

Ron Becker became a CAC docent in 2019. He is also a docent at Brookfield Zoo. This became his calling after his career as a health actuary. He enjoys researching and writing about the architecture and the built environment throughout the Chicago area. Ron has lived in Oak Park for nearly 50 years, and this is where he and his wife raised their six children.
