This tour traces Highland Park’s history from pioneer settlement to summer retreat for Chicago’s wealthy to year-round suburb. Encounter a beautiful variety of residential styles and see homes by architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and W. W. Boyington.

This tour traverses two miles of winding residential streets. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

  • Advance reservations required. Tickets go off sale at 4pm the day prior.
  • Your safety is our priority. The itinerary of this tour may be altered in accordance with health and safety policies and considerations.
  • Parking is available in the Central Train Station East/West parking lots adjacent to the Metra station (Saturday and Sunday) or in the City Hall/Hazel Ave. parking lot at the corner of St. Johns & Hazel Avenues (Sunday only).
